National Code 2018

The National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 is a legislative instrument that sets nationally consistent standards to support providers to deliver quality education and training to overseas students. Education providers, which includes educational institutions and education agents, must comply with the National Code to maintain their registration to provide education services to overseas students.

Education Services for Overseas Students

The ESOS legislative framework set out requirements and procedures to ensure providers of education and training courses to international students can clearly understand and comply with their obligations under the National Code and deliver a high quality of education for international students.

If you have a concern about the quality and standards of your university, contact the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) if you are enrolled in a higher education institution or private college, and the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) if you are enrolled in a Vocational Education and Training (VET) provider.
